If you don't want your child to have structure, discipline, be in a Christian enviornment where he/she will learn and grow then you won't like this school. I have a child there now and I love the attention the teachers give. When she was under performing I was informed every step of the way. Extra tutoring was provided and I see the difference. Every school will have it's challenges, this one is modern technology thankfully I am able to supplement that at home. The school is a great nurturing place and everyone who I've known who attended their have done amazingly academically after.

My kids are there now, my daughter who is in K-4 is doing pretty well but my 2 years old still cries when I leave him, because the teachers screams at the kids... the principal to me is the best ever, I wish they will mix the teachers because they mostly elderly teachers with island accents... might likely change my kids after this school year, if they don't employ more recent/ young teachers with modern technologies and teaching ways.

"The school itsnt the ""updated public school"". But your child will be in a good learning enviroment. Small classes and the Teacher works well with your child. As I think a parent should. Make yourself a part of your child education no matter where they are. Sometimes this will also help push the child and Teacher to higher standards. The only downfall is that they dont have any way to track your child progress. Class assignments and test are graded and sent home weekly. The cirriculum is abeta."

So my niece who is now 20 went to this school and when I tell you she was the smartest in her classes after leaving Sierra Norwood, I had to put my children in there too. My daughter just finished last year and my son is still attending and their education is so good. Straight A's. Its smaller classes to focus on the kids and the rules there are easy to abide because there all common sense. I just wished they went up to 5th grade instead of 3rd but its worth it. best school in Miami gardens!!!
