Kissimmee Middle School Ratings & Reviews

I moved from a top school in Alabama to Kissimmee Middle School. Some of the teachers I couldn't understand because they had a strong Spanish accent. I was bullied a couple times while the teachers stood there and watch it happen. I transferred to another middle school by my 7th grade year. The only memorable thing about the school was the lunch choices. I was happy to leave this school. I didn't learn anything useful. I was challenged more at my new middle school then Kissimmee Middle School. Only thing I remember from this school was drama.

The school is dirty, the worst in the district. There is nothing wrong with the teachers, they are there to teach, and they do fulfill their duty. However, the administrators are all new, and they're simple finding their way, and with little guidance. The principal seems to be afraid of the minority population at the school, and has a stand offish attitude. Ms. Bertram, a new assistant principal, along with Mr. Weeden, the principal has no respect for anyone. Most of the students are unmotivated, and are disrespectful, to not only teachers, but their classmates as well. They pick on each other, and the teachers can't do much about it, because Weeden, and Bertram condones their behavior. This school needs a new principal, as well as a new assistant principal. Many teachers came and left throughout the school year, they rarely make it to the end of the year, because of the lawlessness at the school.
