Thought in moving here from another state would improve the issues my daughter has had with bullying. She has reported the incident and nothing was done at all. In addition, the principal, although he states he has the safety and well being of the students in mind, does not show as much by his actions. Very frustrating and so glad my daughter only had to attend her last half of 8th grade here. She's going to do virtual school next year!

This school's alright...I guess. I mean one thing I really hated about this school was excessive dean off ice and refocus visits. Its like for EVERY LITTLE THING you get sent out of the class. Therefore, missing class learning time. I feel like there a lot of things the teacher could of talked to me about after class instead of making me miss almost half the class. It was little things like whispering to your friend or chewing gum. I know those things are not enforced but you do not let a child miss that much of instructional learning time. This is a really big issue and I hope the principal can do something about.

The staff is incompetent, they harass both the students and the parents. Makes a very stressful environment for the student to learn in. They degrade the students with their comments and actions. Would not recommend this school to anyone.

I am student here HMS and I can definitely that this school is the best middle school in Osceola County. This school has a wide variety of sports and extra curricular activities. The teachers here love their work and kids at HMS, although I like it very much I speak for all students when I say the school uniform policy is a bit strict but its fine. The campus and athletic field is outstanding and the cafeteria lunch is great, I will attending my 3rd year here and I hope it's great. Thank You HMS.

Horizon has been an absolutely wonderful school for us. You can tell that the teachers are happy (that says a lot for the school) and they are professional and caring. They do a great job. The administration is great, too. I have a 7th grader and she has done better here than any other school she's attended. The teachers are good at understanding each individual students strengths and weaknesses and helping them grow. I definitely agree that they've exceeded my expectations for a public middle school. I give Horizon 5 stars!
