I am personally not a fan of several teachers and a lot of the students are brats that need to learn respect and empathy.

As a parent of a student at Skyview Middle School, I thought it was really good, actually one of the best (if not the best) middle school in the area. The only thing I didn't like was the common core math, my student is smart but struggled with that one subject and I agree it needs to go. Otherwise the kids (overall) and the staff seemed really great, and the facilities/performances were great too. We had to move away unfortunately but still miss this school and wish she could attend.

I have been a student at Skyview Middle School for three years. I just finished my eighth grade year and I am VERY happy about that. I didn't like this school for many reasons. Skyview says that they are a very anti-bully school but, that is all that happens. There is an enormous amount of cliques in that school. If you aren't in a "popular' clique then you get treated like garbage. Also, if you have a student with special needs, such as autism, DO NOT sent your student here. The students and some of the staff make fun of them. They can be very rude to the special needs students. They see them as someone easy to make fun of. Some of the teachers I really loved and that is why I gave two stars but, there are some teachers that I didn't like at all. For example, one teacher would always yell at us when they were having a bad day. You shouldn't take your anger out on students. This teacher is not fit to be a teacher. There has been numerous cases where students have gone to the vice principal to talk to them about this teacher and the vice principal did nothing. Lastly, I don't believe I got a real education out of my three years. I really didn't learn much. I never felt like the students nor the staff were ever really serious about learning. So if you want you student to learn something in middle school and have great teachers that encourage them and you want them to go to an anti-bully school, then DO NOT send them to Skyview Middle School!

This school has two tracks, the students who are valued, praised, and taught that they are better than the rest and those who are not in the AP track. There are many reasons why a student is not in AP, and none of those reasons are because they are "less than" anyone else. The teachers and administration all participate in this bullying, and it is not a healthy place for either track of students,

My daughter is in 6th grade and always has great things to say about each of her teachers and how wonderful her school is. However she does have one teacher specifically that inspires her to learn. A special thank you to all teachers because it takes a special individual to teach. An extra special thanks to Mr Hogan for enlightening my daughter in the subject of math. Not only does she mention how amazing the teacher is and how easy and fun she makes math clas, she also talks about different math equations and demonstrates how well she understands each lesson with excitement. Thank you!!!
