Sent three boys to this school and they enjoyed all aspects of school - academics, athletics and social. Administration is approachable and reactive. Quite honestly you cannot go wrong with any Highlands Ranch school from K-12.

This is the best school in highlands ranch and has the best school spirit in Colorado and possibly the country. Everyone there is nice. But most of the school is Caucasian and not very diverse

Great Athletics as well as supportive Counselors, Coaches and Teachers. Excellent college prep course-work as well as career connections and vocational course-work for those not on a traditional college path.

MVHS has some of the best school spirit I have ever seen. Each and every student comes out to support their teams. The academics are great, and the arts programs are outstanding! I would recommend this school to any student!

MVHS is an excellent school and always will be. People who say this school is terrible really have no idea what they are talking about. This school has one of the best principals I've personally ever seen (Mike Weaver) who is dedicated and constantly tries to make his school better. Unfortunatly the administration at the district level has been incompentant and has caused major budget cuts in recent years. Our superintendant Dr. Elizebeth Fagan is not only a terrible leader but seems to care more about herself then the children shes supposed to be supporting. MVHS does have a large white student body but they do not go around raciallly profiling people or attempting to make the less fortunate feel unimportant. In fact, MVHS has 20-30 fundrasers per year that mostly are to help out the people who can barely feed their family. Some of the previous reviews of Mountain Vista sicken me on their bias, opinionated statements and ignorant view points. Mountain Vista is a great sschool and hopefully will remain that way for years to come.
