I'm really concerned for my 7 year old grandson going this school. He started here in June and no one would talk to him to make him feel comfortable. He had accidentally walked into the middle of basketball game to retrieve a ball that had gone on the court. the boys got mad at him and threw the basketball at him and hit him in the face. The teacher that saw this told him he shouldn't have walked on the court. Really??? He has said other kids call him weird because he has freckles. I'm concerned about the attitude within this school. No one has made him feel welcome. That is sad.

Lowry is an amazing school that truly cares about seeing kids grow academically, emotionally, and physically. The parents and administration work really well together to create an all-inclusive environment. The school-home relationship is amazing, teachers come out to the child's home to spend some time with them and see their home life. In return, the child understands the connection between the parents and teachers and that we work together to make sure our child has the best learning possible. I feel like the school continually makes strides for improvements, makes work challenging yet attainable and really makes school fun. Teachers have stuck around for many years even when the school went through some turmoil 5+ years ago. Strong administration and teachers and offers more than what people may realize. Lowry offers a farm to table experience after kids plant vegetables in the garden, the school still celebrates holidays with class parties and parades, and it just got approved for a STEM lab in 2017. It continues to get better and better and I love the variety of ways that parents can be involved with the school and feel like the community along with the teachers and students!

Lowry continues to exceed my expectations in every way; from academics to safety to the caring, hard working teachers & staff to the strong community that exists; which the newer principal, Dr Cooper, is working to strengthen even further. My 1st grader is thriving at Lowry, academically and socially, and is actually excited to go to school every day. You can ask for more than that! We're so happy that we decided against 'choicing out' of our border school or paying for private school. We have everything we need and more right up the street!

I've been very happy with the six years my children have spent at Lowry so far. Each of my children's teachers have focused on trying to meet the needs of the individual student to ensure as much academic progress as possible throughout the year.
