My daughter just started kindergarten this past September at Graland; my wife and I couldn't be happier or more impressed with the whole experience so far. The campus is beautiful, well designed and each grade gets to experience all of it beginning at kindergarten. It's a wonderful environment for students to learn and grow together, with small class size and amazing, engaging teachers. The student population is a diverse group of very motivated, intelligent and friendly kids who respect one another and love to learn as well as play. And one of the best things is how inclusive and open the parent community is. Part of this, I believe, results from Graland hosting a number of voluntary events for new families both before the school year and during. It's easy to get too busy by trying to attend all of them while balancing "life" but it's so worth it, because you create meaningful relationships with other parents and learn yourself. We all feel like part of a great community. Most importantly, our daughter is feeling challenged, loves to learn & explore, and loves going to school. Plus we love seeing the Head of School out every morning saying hi to all the kids coming in!

Our daughter is in kindergarten at Graland; and we feel so lucky to get to send her to this AMAZING school. In our experience, our daughter's teachers do an excellent job of meeting each student where he / she is at (which is a tall order in kindergarten!). They are clearly committed to each student's success and to building character and tools that will support them to explore, persevere and succeed in life. The parent community has also blown us away. It is grounded, diverse, engaged and extremely welcoming. We were so impressed that from day one, parents, old and new to the school, went out of their way to be kind, open and honest in conversation. Two months in, we have begun to develop meaningful connections with an extremely diverse group of parents and children. And it is a pleasure to watch our daughter play with new friends on the weekend - they sing songs from Music & Movement and Spanish class, talk about learning about how important it is to remember that all people are created equal, are intrigued with the insects they get to examine under a microscope, and are excited with all the news words they are learning to read, among other wonderful moments. Come learn with us!

Graland gives your child/ren an excellent academic foundation that they will take with them beyond 8th grade. The teachers are outstanding, the community of parents are welcoming, the care the school takes of each child emotionally is above par. The curriculum is taught in a way that every learning style is supported. Graland is a leader in demonstrating that students can give to others at an early age. Every grade has a service learning program and these experiences are truly special. In 6th grade, students help the homeless. In 7th grade, students work with seniors who suffer from dementia and Alzheimer's disease. These experiences make students more compassionate and understanding for others. In the middle school, the trips are tied into the curriculum so history and science comes to life. Graland is the BEST pre-K-8th grade school in Colorado.

Graland is a school like no other. There is a very strong community feel and the school allows you to make mistakes. Speaking from personal experience, as an 8th grade student, not only does Graland enable you to learn from the classroom setting, it allows you to learn from messing up. Thanks to Graland, I feel very prepared for high school from an academic standpoint and a social standpoint.

We have two kids at Graland, and both children have had wonderful experiences in elementary and middle school. The teachers and administrators are very caring and go above and beyond to make sure that our kids are thriving. Graland never sits still: the schools always looks for ways to build up its existing curriculum which makes it very effective and innovative. The school is investing a lot in its buildings and technology, and with the new Corkins center that will open up in a couple weeks, the kids will have access to STEM facilities yet to be seen in Denver. Probably one of the best private schools in the nation, Graland encourages kids to invent and create. We as parents are confident that our children are getting the best education possible in Denver. We also love Graland's inclusive and supportive community, and are happy to be part of it. There are so many ways to get engaged and involved at Graland. It's a happy place!
