If you like good academics, avoid it. If you are interested in you/your child becoming a good person, if an uneducated one, send them here.

If you are concerned about an academic rigorous education at a college preparatory school, there are great private schools in the Denver area to choose from. If you are looking for a Jewish education, you will benefit from being part of the JCC or various Jewish Community events throughout the Denver area.

We truly wanted to make the school work for our kids but sadly the school is going down. It's a shame for a Jewish school to have so much dysfunction. The secular academics are so poor that we had to spend thousands of dollars supplementing. The math is appalling. When kids move to public schools they are several years behind. There are no choices of classes beyond Judaics. If you want your child to learn about anything other than Judaics, you are much better off at another school or spending thousands plugging the holes through outside classes and camps. There is no emphasis on secular studies, no honors classes and no room for self growth.

We are very happy with DJDS. Our son chose to enroll here when it came time to pick a high school and he absolutely loves school. Everyone cares deeply about the children, the teachers are knowledgeable, and the leadership cares deeply about hearing feedback and constantly working to improve the school for the children's benefit. I am very impressed with the school and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good school that supports their child's connection with Judaism.
