This school is very easy to get used to, people are very nice and the teachers make an effort to help you learn. There are lots of cool clubs and sports. This school has 6 languages, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, French, and Lakota. we also have may different kinds of social studies classes, this year, in 8th grade, I'm taking Global Service Learning and American History.

This school is so great and I am so glad I didn't go anywhere else for middle school. Come here and you won't regret it. Everyone is so awesome, helpful and nice.

I would rate my experience at DCIS with 5 stars. I have had such an incredible time with all of the teachers and staff. Throughout all of the grades, I have at least one friend which allows me to interact with older and younger students. I just love the accepting and loving community at my school and would recommend it to anyone who is interested.

My daughter is presently an 8th grader at DCIS. To say her experience since 6th grade has been transformative would be an understatement. She has thrived in an environment that encourages creativity, student voice and a fluency in cultural and global issues. The school did struggle over the past few years as it transitioned from an all-application school to an open enrollment school, but this year is going great and my daughter couldn't be more thrilled with her teachers and her classes and the amazing clubs and activities she is able to experience.
