Not great. All about the money and sports. God help you if you overdraw your lunch account (they will starve them), or have a student with special needs and health issues which makes going to doctor appointments tricky. They want the $$$ for butts in the seats. A lot of pressure on the students of what they want to be when they grow up, starting from sophmore year on up. As if every student KNOWS what that might be, even in their senior year.

This school is racist. I am a very strict white parent and I do not approve of my kids going here.

Very clicky district that does not take well to outsiders. They tend to hire there own LUSD graduates. The district seems to be filled with Stocktonians. I am from the other side of the U.S. I worked at Lincoln for a few years and am glad to have moved on. I was hired because I worked in a challenging position. I was overqualified and very experienced, but got little to no support from the administration. They did not appreciate my hard work and success with my students. I agree with the reviewer that said they keep some bad teachers and get rid of some good teachers. There is something more political, than in most school districts, going on in this district.

I was a student at Lincoln High School for two years. PROS: great teachers, a great deal of clubs and sports optionsCONS: need to be a self-starter or a hard worker, out-of-touch administration.Like other reviewers have said, this school is not for everyone. The sheer size can be overwhelming and it is easy to get lost in the shuffle. I personally enjoyed my time here because I came from a tiny private school in which everyone knew everyone's business.

This school is amazing! The students are so full of school spirit and civic pride. The staff here are so warm and welcoming and really care for their students the same way they would their own kids. The classrooms are very relaxing and the school menu is far superior to others I've seen. Seniors take care of Freshman here and they are such compassionate young adults.
