I've been happy with my experience with Park School so far. The principal and my daughter's teacher are wonderful. The campus is beautiful, especially with the new addition of the garden.

Our experience at Park has been great so far! The principal is awesome and very dedicated. Our son's Kindergarten teacher is also dedicated and very talented, bringing a great deal of experience and expertise to the classroom.

One of Park school's strengths is the dedication of the parents and community. I've worked alongside some amazingly smart, talented and generous parents at Park. They have inspired me to give my time to help make our school and community a better place. I know my children have benefited from this community spirit and can only believe the rest of the kids have as well. Instead of complaining & criticizing these relatively few parents who are giving tirelessly to help your child's school become a better learning environment, come join them. It takes a village! My 1st grader is confident, happy, has loads of friends in class, is above grade level in math, reading chapter books, excited about participating in the upcoming Science Fair, and learning about solids, liquids, & gases in the Park science lab. Rock'n'roll, people.

I forgot to add a few other things. I am a teacher and I am very proud that my children go to a school where parents have chosen to send their children to a school that is open to anyone, regardless of ability or income, religion or physical characteristic. Some will look at the number that Great Schools has assigned this school and decide that it is a "bad" school. Parents like me, who volunteer in classes, who talk to the teachers and students and administrators know that there is a lot of growth in students that can't be summed up in a single number. Any statistician can tell you that, as can my high school Statistics students. I AM REALLY PROUD OF THESE STUDENTS AND TEACHERS!

Park school is very diverse which also means we have kids from different economic levels and kids with different languages at home. This might explain the test scores. My 2 kids as well as their friends have always done well on their tests. They are comfortable mixing with all the kids and have learned about other cultures through the school and things like International Day there. They love their teachers and want to go to Park school so that is why we are there, even though we could send them to a private school. We feel the kids here do not run around feeling entitled like at some other schools. The principal will email you back that day or set up a time to meet with you if you are interested in attending this school. We also now have great after school enrichment classes at our school.
