Our experience at Summit was exceptional! We can not say enough great things about Summit. The mentor program was amazing for our son and the students we have over to our home are wonderful. The leadership is great and the teachers are enthusiastic and engaged. The administration, mentors and teachers care about every student. No Husky is left behind. We are sad to be graduating out this year. Thank you Summit!!

Summit Prep is a hidden gem only rivaled by local prestigious private schools. The teachers truly get to know and care about the students (due to the low student-teacher ratio, the mentoring program, a very involved administration as well as a unified and energetic school team.). They have a comprehensive college prep program (kids take PSAT and visit colleges starting in 9th, they talk about recommendations, building resumes, and volunteering often throughout the years.). My son has never been happier in school. He feels like school is his second home - the social emotional and mentor programs have helped him feel he is an integral part of and supported by an tight knit and caring community. My son went from surviving school to thriving - thanks to the support and encouragement of his friends and the school team, he has been motivated to be an ambassador, join debate team, travel internationally and take a community college class. Summit Prep was a life changing decision for our son - the school program and the energetic, caring and involved staff bring out the student’s strengths and teach strategies for overcoming challenges.

"My son has an IEP and the wonderful thing is that all of his teachers and the director all know him very well. They work to accommodate his needs while still keeping him challenged and working to his abilities. They understand him and like who he is as a unique individual, and value those special traits.I especially value the mentor system. Having the same mentor every year to support him, and coach him through his growing and learning has been so valuable! We have experienced no bullying at all. Summit feels like a true community. All of the students are accepting of each other. I see them in the halls saying hi to my son, even if he isn't ""friends"" with them. When he struggles, the staff does try to work with him, to the best that they can. They are constrained by their ""system"" of teaching, but if you are comfortable with that, then this is a great place for you."

Summit has powerful core values that are heavily practiced. They strive to prepare this diverse group of students for success. 100% of those who graduate are accepted to a 4 year college. The energy the staff gives off is amazing. Its a small community where everyone works together.I, as a first generation student, had no idea about college. Summit made sure we understood the steps to take so we feel ready for the college world. They had us volunteer for our junior year, take SAT/ACT classes, take multiple AP courses, take AP tests, work in groups, and much more. I had a beautiful journey that I am very grateful for.
