Harvest is a gem! Classical Christian education (quality and values) with loving staff and teachers make this a wonderful choice for families in Marin and Sonoma looking for the right place for their child's growth in both academics and faith . We are so happy we found this school for our daughter.

"I cannot possibly express how much we LOVE Harvest Christian School. We are so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to attend such an amazing school. Everyone is so loving and kind. The teachers and staff genuinely care about every child and everyone is always smiling and so happy. I mean EVERYONE! We experience a warm and safe feeling every time we step foot on campus. The academics are incredible. Our daughter, as young as she is, is already so advanced! The smaller class sizes allow the teachers to work with every child and their individual needs. Everyone learns and grows at a different pace. The teachers and staff really work with the children at this school. It's very orderly and structured. They teach them to be loving and kind to one another and be everyone's friend. No ""besties"" allowed. We don't have to worry about peer drama or bullying in this environment. Harvest Christian School is affordable and the children put in a full day of school (3:15pm release) that is very well structured.I can't say enough about how awesome this school really is. You have to experience it in person to see for yourself."

We are so thankful for Harvest. My son is loved, hugged and encouraged each and every day to be the best person and student he can be. The teachers and staff have gotten to know him and understand him. They are supporting me in raising him in a loving, positive, and supportive environment. When I leave him at school, I know he is absolutely getting the best education in town from the most loving staff. We know, we've been to another local public school for his first 3 years. Harvest is not only focused on strong academics, my son has been encouraged to sing here, do public speeches, create art from his heart, support his community, be a kind, positive person, understand where he excels and where he could put in more time and dedication, that learning is fun, that it might not always be easy but that hard work pays off, and to support and encourage his fellow classmates. I also love that he is acknowledged and noticed and that I know, without a doubt, that due to their excellent communication system in place, I will know that same day if something is not as it should be. We LOVE Harvest and are so thankful to have the BEST private school in Petaluma and one that we can afford.

We started off very happy with the school. We were happy to have our kids learning in a christian environment with academics being better than the public school. Unfortunately, this school has become obsessed with test scores just like the public schools and now send home pink slips if your child gets less than a B on anything. Also, scores have become so obsessed with that even awards that should be about more than academics are being given to those that are praised for their academics with little else being mentioned. HCS used to be about providing a education in a christian environment to being a christian school expecting all students to be honor students. That is no better than some elite ivy league type private school. I am sad to see this happening but I don't expect it to change as now they are bragging about how their expected high school is going to achieve academic greatness. I doubt even the apostles could have gone here without getting a pink slip or concerned emails to their parents.
