Awful. There is simply no "Jesus" love here. (Only care about the money.) ..and they take a lot of time off and leave you without day care, while they close their doors, but expect you to pay for the whole month anyway. Did not meet our needs. Very disppointed!

Check for yourself. Do your homework. Ask to observe in and out of the classroom before you enroll your child. Ask all the questions that concern you and make sure you are completely satisfied with their answer. One of my issues was the lack of transparency when my LO was crying for an extended amount of time. To make matters worse there was no validation or an attempt to a solution to my concerns from the director. She needs to brush up on her parent relationship skills and reflect on the concerns that are being brought to her.

This school is a very subjective one. I have personally been in each classroom at this school and some run well while others do not. Each classroom is a completely separate entity, there is no cohesiveness or generalizations that can be made about the school as a whole. I hold a BA in Child Development and through my multiple interactions in the classes at this school, the advice that I offer to potential parents is this: You have the right to see proof of the teacher's qualifications, I suggest that you ask to see your child's potential teacher's units, any certification they may hold, and proof that they are current on their CPR/First Aid certification. I also suggest that you make many visits to the classroom that you are considering enrolling your child in, and that you inform the director that after the first scheduled tour, you will be coming back to "drop-in" and "observe" at some point in the upcoming week, or whatever the time period is. Then you can see the true interactions of the teachers and of the children. Barri Hicks is a mentor to teachers in training and she is an amazing teacher, and Maria Sahagun is also a mentor and a very caring teacher and loves the children.

My child had been in this school for one year. I heard many good things about it from a friend of mine who was a previous parent. But unfortunately It didn't take a long time before I realized I made a mistake. The head director was not what I expected as an educator. She was icy and bossy to her staffs and even to the parents. I don't think she is willing to interact with the kids and their parents, and she is poor at handling issues. There was no diversity in the teacher group. You can easily notice all the teachers have the same nationality except only a couple. I heard it wasn't like this a few of years ago. Something must have been changed in recruiting. Some teachers are caring and kind, but young teachers are concerned about how they look to the principal more than communicating with parents. Some parents seemed to have a strong connection to each other. I saw them gather and talk in the church yard very often. But their parent involvement is very poor. Only a small group of parents volunteer and interact with the teachers and kids. The facilities are clean, but parking is pretty far from the school building. It may take you more efforts if you have another younger child.

My son is in his second year and loves it. The staff and teachers are warm and caring, the school is clean and bright. I just wish more parents were involved.
