We're not going to keep our child here, kids are disrespectful and she is not up to grade level in academics.

Having attended the school for 14 years, from playgroup to the present (junior year of high school), I can safely say that the entire experience of attending the school has been incredible. Throughout elementary and high school, I have seen little to no bullying, as claimed by parent reviewers who have not attended the school themselves. I have been on that playground and have seen children across all grades play together and get along harmoniously. The class size throughout the lower grades can reach over thirty, but with the same qualified, amazing teacher throughout grades 1-8, the students truly get a personal education and develop a relationship with the main teacher that lasts long after they leave for the high school side of campus. My teacher was amazing, and she continues to travel all the way back to see us in the high school when she can. As for the high school, the atmosphere is even more welcoming and amazing because the class sizes and the school itself are much smaller. I believe the largest class we have at the moment consists of 17 students, and that happens to be my class. We have been together since first grade and kindergarten for some, with new additions along the way, so the so-called "large class sizes" are actually groups of students who know each other like a family. As for the teachers, both the high school and lower school faculty are among the most incredible, supportive people I have met in my entire life. They teach us more than just math and grammar; they teach us lessons we'll hold on to for life. The one teacher a reviewer seems to be complaining about is one of my class sponsors and one of my favorite teachers. Far from the negative connotation described by said reviewer, she has taught my class and I more about English and history and life than anyone else, and I don't believe there is a single one of us who dislikes her and her classes. Contrary to letting students run loose, she and all of the teachers at the school are very capable of keeping us all in check. And not by the aforementioned "bullying" or any force whatsoever. Contrarily, the teachers are able to keep us safe and in line because we have such a deep respect for all of them and because we have such a strong relationship with all of them.

Every child should have the opportunity to be blessed by an education this deeply engaging.

Only enroll in this school if you like seeing your child enjoy going to school each day and if you appreciate knowing that each teacher (all 7) truly cares about your child's well being. As an educator in both top public and private institutions, I have been thoroughly impressed with the care and attention given to the children. The atmosphere at this school does make learning come alive and it shows

The Waldorf School of Orange County has been a blessing for our family in so many ways. It is a tight-knit community, my children's classmates and teachers are like family to us and the educational methods are highly effective. The classrooms are alive with movement, music and art that beautifully complement the challenging and diverse curriculum. Parental involvement is high and it is expected. My children look forward to going to school every day. They are nurtured, and they are also challenged to do their best work and be their best selves. No teaching to the test here; these kids are actually retaining what they learn and are hungry for more. I can't recommend this school highly enough.
