We’ve been at ECC for 5 years. My children love the teachers, administration, and community and are thriving academically. The leadership at ECC has spent a ton of effort creating a kind, nurturing environment for the students. Great job ECC!!

I have had kids at ECC for 9 years and have 4 more years to go. My kids have been really happy at ECC with both the teachers and the environment. The homework has been an age appropriate amount and not busywork. The academic support programs have been really helpful for both math and reading. There are some really special teachers at this school and some great programs. My daughter participated in an amazing anti-bullying peer program (Safe Schools Ambassador) that she was nominated and trained for and was another set of eyes and ears on the playground or lunch area looking for kids upset or bullied. It's a wonderful thing when your daughter comes home telling you how she handled helping her peers with issues. I got teary eyed hearing what she was able to do to make their day better. All in all, this school is special and I will be very sad when our youngest finally graduates.

Both of my kids loved going to school at ECC. They enjoyed every minute of it. From their teachers, to the arts attack art program, yoga, music and PE. Excellent teachers and adminstration that really care about providing a quality education.

I have two kids that have attended this school and it is the best school around. The leadership from principal to teachers is amazing. Sure every school has some things that are not what somebody anticipated or desires however, to please the maojority of parents and students is no easy task and this organization is doing so in my opinion. People are quick to point out the negative and usually those are the people that live their lives in a negative light. There is plenty of good and great things going on at this institution to rave about.

My experience at this school has been stressful. It has high academic scores and looks good on paper. However, I should have read all of the reviews about bullying. It is inconceivable that any school would condone bullying and lack of playground supervision for so many years. The leadership apparently has no motivation to change the situation for the students. Bullying on the playground is baked into the culture at this school and leadership. I wish I had asked the school how many students are on the playground at each lunch and how many supervisors to watch them? I do not know any parent who would knowingly allow their child to be left in this "Lord of the Flies" at recess every day. It took me a while to realize what was going on and now that I do, I can not understand why the Principal does not address it by allocating more resources to lunch supervision.
