Bad. now that i have come to know my child's kindergarten teacher. My oldest child had 2 wonderful years in 4th and 5th grade with excellent teachers... my poor child had the bad luck to get a loud, mean teacher for the first time in school. She was so rude to me, said an unacceptable word near my kids, Yelled at me, i heard her rude loud sarcasm behind my back, made the kids cry, Has the lights off in class, unfairly punished my child, doesn't teach with compassion and dedication, doesn't send me the same info as other parents, now plainly ignores me, shames the kids about their lunches, clothing and now has prohibited parents to drop their kids in the building. This has completely broke my heart and i hope the principal Disney take charge and get better teachers specially for kindergarten.

"I would highly recommend NOT letting your children go to this school. While there are a few good teachers, the amount of incompetent ones is much greater. The school is also very overboard on uniforms and rules. Simply forgetting to wear a belt (boys) for one day results in an after school detention. Same with forgetting to wear the ALA patch for one day or simply having headphones out of your backpack. Students are under harsh scrutiny constantly. They are too harsh on unimportant things, but let things such as the bathroom vaping and fighting slip under the rug. Also, if you are not actually inside the classroom the second the class bell rings, teachers will ""shut the door in your face"" even if you are right outside. You then have to miss the entirety of that class, including all work and assignments, and have to go sit and do absolutely nothing in the P.A.R room the whole class period. On the second P.A.R trip, you will get an after school detention. They also do not have sufficient cafeteria lines or room and many students are forced to either sit on the cafeteria floor to eat, or bake outside in the sun since they have no shade for them. Many students have go to class late because they spent their whole lunch time waiting in the line and didn't get a chance to eat. The parent pickup/ traffic at the school is horrendous and the fee for riding the bus is around $800 a year, depending on how many students need a ride. That's ridiculous! Another thing is that a lot of the students who go here are snobby and unfriendly. I would highly recommend taking your student elsewhere to save them from a bad high school experience."

5 stars. I have Mrs. Weber and she was amazing. I could not have wished for a better teacher.

We love everything ALA has to offer. My child is challenged with the curriculum and the teachers are caring. Being a part of ALA is like being one big family no matter which campus you are at. I love how they strive to teach the students leadership and that they truly stand up for what the name of the school is and honor America. We simply love ALA!

My kids can't wait for school to start. Thank you ALA for nurturing their love for school and for showing them that not everything in life should be easy. My kids are learning what it means to work hard and never giving up even when something is frustrating or difficult. Sometimes homework takes a long time! These days, more and more people are making excuses for their kid's behavior, and the bar of expectation for our kids is lowered when they're faced with a challenge that they don't want to face. As a parent, I appreciate what the teachers here are doing to set the bar high and hold my kids accountable for what they do.
