Mrs. Johnson is an amazing principal with the parents and students. The new office staff is amazing and beyond helpful!

After struggling the two worst years of my life I am so glad to be done with this horrible school. I am now a tenth grader at QCHS and I love it, but my two years at NBJH were horrendous. The mixture of bad teaching and lack of helpfulness from the principle and consolers after being bullied just made it worse. But that isn't even the worst part. I have twin brothers who are currently at the school. One who has always struggled in school. And the most confusing part is to see how hard he tries but he always seems to be behind. It got so bad that all of his teachers wanted to have a meeting with my mom. They all got together and completely ambushed him, saying things like "he's lazy" "he doesn't try" right to his face. This caused him to break down with anger and confusion towards himself. How would you like to be called dumb and lazy by the people who should be helping him! In class on day his reading teacher said in front of the whole class that "he doesn't think his work is mandatory". My mom decided that she needed to take him to see a psychologist. She did and turns out he has ADD. These horrible teachers have been calling him lazy and dumb when it isn't his fault.Another terrible thing is the teacher parent relationship. They act like the are offended when a parent calls and tries to get help from a teacher. My brothers English teacher told my mom after asking her a question about a project that it was my brothers responsibility to ask her questions and refused to answer the question.I would definitely not recommend enrolling your child into this school. Sorry if there's grammars mistakes.

NBJH is a very good school in QC. As a parent reading these truly mean spirited evaluations, I am taken back by their comments about the front staff and principal. First, the ladies in front are very nice and helpful. NEVER had a problem. They try extremely hard AND succeed and are down to earth NOT rude or lacking in knowledge. I guess those who cast these negative reviews about the staff and school expect life on a silver platter. GET OVER YOURSELVES. Sometimes you have to wait. Ok! There are many wheels turning and if your a parent that can't see how much GOOD is going on then it's NOT the school that is the problem. The PRINCIPAL IS FANTASTIC. Again. This must be a personal vendetta that parents who expect PERFECTION. Nothing is perfect in the world, but I GUARENTEES that she/Principlal cares 100% and does a great deal to make this a great school. She is a stand up lady and loves these kids as do the staff and teachers. Personally any neg reviews should be taken with a grain of salt.

Already off to a bumpy start. Things better start getting better soon, or I'll be transferring my kids back to Charter schools. Front office staff and teachers seem bothered when I call or come in. Good luck everyone.

Why is it they remove every honest review that is posted on here? They ask for honest opinions, and then they are pulled from the reviews. Keep hiding the truth and the kids are the ones who suffer. We know first hand about this once we removed our child and enrolled them in another school. Pre testing showed they were tow grade levels behind, but received A's in the classes, SAD.
