We couldn't be more pleased with the staff and teachers of Bayer. Our oldest daughter has been enrolled at Bayer for three years beginning with the PreK 3 program; she will be starting the 1st grade this fall. Her reading, writing, math, and problem-solving comprehension are incredibly advanced for a 6-year-old. The teachers she has had in the three years she's been at Bayer have all been committed to their kids and their success. I can't speak to the negative comments regarding this school. But as a parent of a child going into first grade and of one going into the PreK 3 program this fall, I would recommend this school to anyone who is willing to put in the work to be successful. Bayer is a challenging school, the teachers and curriculum ask a lot of the kids and their parents. If you are not willing to work hard with your child and show them how to work hard, they will not have a good time. Our daughter has learned the value of putting in work and seeing the payoff. I think in today's world, teaching respect, hard work and discipline are very important. These are things that a child barely out of Kindergarten is learning. This is a great school, and I am excited to watch our children grow and learn here.

All about appearances. They seem to be focusing on early grade school enrollments. I've heard many bad things about early school programs but I can't attest to them specifically myself. The people I have spoken with are credible & intelligent individuals currently looking for new schools. I can speak to my later grade school experience w/ my son. My son is a high achiever, driven, well-mannered individual. This school has done their best to tear him down and demean his value as an individual though! The mean girls and certain donor kids rule the roost. Dream up your worst nightmare of entitled rich kids and double standards and Bayer School will certainly fit the bill! At admissions certain promises were made by a very competent saleswoman. I believe she would have said whatever I wanted to hear, though in practice through the school year these promises, ideals and character couldn't be further from the truth! They hire "impassioned" non-accredited teachers which initially I thought wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, they have a passion for their subject, and some for being friends with the pervy older boy, and little else when it comes to basic classroom management. Even in classes with 10 kids or less! The music teacher even runs his own "free range" school. He has major issues himself but ultimately it rests on the shoulders of "WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD HIRE THIS GUY!?" The principal seems disinclined to mentor or guide teachers who may ultimately be competent teachers w/some basic skills & tools. There is a very Pro-Girl culture here. The principal and some teachers seem to be on a crusade against boys. The girls know this and take advantage of the favoritism at all times. If you want your boy to be programmed into thinking he has less value than the spoiled and entitled girls then this school is for you. If you have a high achieving young lady that is being raised in a merit based culture of personal accountability this school is not for you. The rot exists from the top on down. What a waste of $12K for a year's tuition. I was hoping this school was an option for higher learning in the NW Valley, but unfortunately, you'd have to be high yourself to send your kid here... unless of course you are a disciple of cronyism, favoritism and entitled intellectual depravity!

We are extremely happy with Bayer and would not move our daughters go to any other school. They have been at this school since they opened their doors, and our plans are they will stay through 8th grade. I believe it will continue to grow to be one of the top schools in the valley. It is still a young school, but we have been amazed by how far it is come in just a few short years. Their goal is to help students succeed and be able to go on to whatever high school they desire and whatever college in the future. I also love the diversity at the school. I researched a lot of schools before choosing Bayer some not even in our area and did not find another school where I felt comfortable with such a great sense of community for our daughters. We know the staff and they know us and the families are close. The PTSO and the school have some wonderful fun events for the students and their families. It is a place where the children can feel safe, learn, and still have fun. The academics are a grade ahead, but the students do not feel stressed. We know our girls will be well rounded students when they complete their years at Bayer. I believe you will not be disappointed if you choose Bayer for your children.

My child is a current student at Bayer. I have done extensive research on charter schools, public schools, and private schools in our area. There is no comparison to the quality of curriculum. Our experiences with both staff and teachers have been postive. They listen to our concerns and they never hesitate to discuss an issue and have listened without judgement. They work with the parent and student to find a resolution. We have had nothing but positive relationships with parents and school personnel and our student has only experienced positive support from classmates. The small class sizes are an additional benefit for all students. The environment is nurturing, academically challenging, and stresses charcter development. This school works at developing a partnership. All parties are responsible and play a role in the success of the student. This supports my philosophy on academic success it takes all doing their part and being held accountable.

Wonderful experience! Middle school teachers are amazing. Curriculum is very advanced and the small class size is a plus. We are very happy here at Bayer!
