Dothan High School is a phenomenal school within the Dothan City School system. My parents preferred for me to go to Dothan High, rather than Northview due to personal preference. With that being said, I can only say great things about DHS!

Dothan High School has a few decent points if you look past all the negativity surrounding it. As a student who has lived in various states, I would say that this school is average compared to other schools I have attended. I have some amazing teachers, and some teachers that I abhor. I would rather go here than Northview or Rehobeth, though; people here seem to get along. Our band is really good, and we have a good art program. If you decide to come to Dothan High, sign up for honors and AP classes and surround yourself with good students and you'll do fine :)

Both of my sons attend DHS. My oldest son is a part of the band and loves it. My youngest is a part of JROTC and takes great pride in participating in the group. I feel that the teachers and administration work hard to provide the best learning environment for the students.

My son received an above average education, was afforded many opportunities for diverse learning, received tutoring when needed and felt at home at Dothan High. Attended 4 years with a choice of other schools but always chose DHS.

This school has really made a change for the better since Mr.Sowell has been here! He is a great principal and he doesn't take no for an answer.
