The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) is excited to share many new programs and resources that become available to you and your families. Our Information Technology team continues to add new platforms that will help us communicate more effectively and more frequently with you, our Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher participants. In order to do that, we need to have up to date email and mobile phone information for you, which you can provide/update on our new Resident Portal.

Aside from updating information, using these newly added platforms you will be able to see real-time information regarding your annual certifications, assistance payment information, your rent portion, caseworker information, work order requests and status updates. In the future you will be able to submit annual renewal documentation as well as interim requests through this platform.

As technology continues to evolve, it is extremely important that we keep this information updated at all times. We often send out information about free career training, college scholarships, preschool enrollment, after-school programs, summer camps & summer jobs for you and your children.  If we do not have a current email & mobile number for you, you will miss out on these opportunities.  Due to the expense and environmental impact of paper mail, we will only send this information electronically.
