Staff is very friendly and helpful, and apartments are built very well and the amenities are SO NICE! Neighbors recently moved in under us and we haven't heard a thing. So far, we love it and would highly recommend!
Anonymous on Apr 16, 2024I have lived here for around 2 months now and while there is construction going on still, it's relatively quiet. Helps I'm on a 3rd floor. Parking has been ok. It's first come first serve, however a neighbor has a few vehicles along with a couple big trailers that seem to take up a lot of room. So far it hasn't been an issue but once the place starts filling up with tenants then it will be. Mail is still a problem, as the mailboxes are not set up yet due to a post office issue? So our mail is left on the counter in the lobby of the club house. Not the best scenario but it has been ok so far. Package delivery is hit or miss as well as they have a secure package area, however it's not always accessible and it seems like the delivery drivers know nothing about it and i get most of my packages at my door. These are all just growing pains for a new complex I'm sure, but oakwood has been around a while and they have many many complexes around so one would think opening a new complex would be figured out by now. The people in the club office though are super amazing and go above and beyond to help anyone out. So far it's been a great experience with some minor inconveniences that will get sorted out I'm sure.

Anonymous on Oct 31, 2023I have overall liked living her, I have struggled being by the pool with the noise in the summer so keep that in mind on what unit you picked. I have also had some trouble with the noise since there are so many units right next to each other. The size for the price is great, having a basement and a back patio has been amazing and is what really pulled me in. They have gone through 3 managers but the most current one seems to be working hard to improve the the grounds which is nice.

The rent is a bit steep, I will admit, but maintenance is extremely prompt and lowkey, neighbors are awesome, and management/admin is never in your business. Not to mention the property is very pet friendly, though there HAVE been issues with pet waste cleanup lately apparently… But we plan on renewing our lease in the next few months! Everyone here is great !

Megan, the property manager, is wonderful. She is extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. Maintenance team is professional and very prompt (same day) with any requests. The community is quiet and well maintained. Most of all, you can tell the staff here really care about the residents. Highly recommend Ivy Hills place!

My patio is comfortable and located on the end of a short quiet street facing into the woods. My occupancy began under prior ownership and management. Since acquisition by Towne Properties the apartment maintenance and grounds upkeep has been greatly improved. I find the staff to be friendly and efficient. I intend to reside here as long as I am self-sufficient. I am an eighty-five-year-old male. Jim H.
