Sudekum Apartments are located in the South Nashville community at 101 University Ct, Nashville, TN 37210. Named after the late prominent Nashville businessman Anthony "Tony" Sudekum, Sudekum Apartments are included in the Napier and Sudekum Transformation.

Applying for Affordable Housing is always free. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), who funds the program, does not allow any agency to charge a family to apply. Beware of websites that charge a fee to apply for the housing program. These websites are not affiliated with the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) or the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The only way to apply for MDHA housing is through MDHA’s official website.


Sudekum Apartments will be accepting online applications starting at Noon CST on April 10, 2026 and ending at 3PM CST on April 17, 2026. During this online application process, you will receive a total of three (3) automatic emails. The third and final email will include the words "Online Application Completed Confirmation" in the email's subject line and a copy of your application form will be attached and include your prospect code along with your application date and time. Please retain this information for your records! If you do not receive your third and final email within an hour, chances are you did not complete your online application, and you will need to log back on in order to complete your online application.

User Name Notice

A user name is no longer required for new RENTCafé registrations as of 11/17/2025, but a valid email address is required. However, a user name is still required to access existing RENTCafé accounts. If you receive the following error during registration: "Account Already Exists: The email address you entered is already registered with an account. To access this account, log in using your user name and password", you will need to log in below with your existing user name and password to begin creating your new application. If you have an existing RENTCafé account with a user name and you cannot log in, try registering again using a different email address. If you are in need of a new email address, visit this list of email providers who offer free email services. 
Note to Social Workers: If you are creating waiting list applications on behalf of your clients, a valid email address is required to register your client in RENTCafe. You will need to use your client's personal email address, or you will need to create a new email address on their behalf. 

Password Instructions

  • Must be a minimum of ten (10) characters.
  • Must contain at least one uppercase letter.
  • Must contain at least one lowercase letter.
  • Must contain at least one number.
  • Must contain at least one symbol (@, #, $, %, &, etc.).

New RentCafe Passwordless Login Notice

Starting Monday, January 12, 2026, the login process for RentCafe is changing to a passwordless system. Click here to review the changes.

  • If you registered for this property using your email address as your user name, simply enter your email address for your user name and follow the instructions as they are presented to you.
  • If you registered for this property using a unique user name that’s not an email address, enter your user name as normal, and you will be prompted to add an email address to your profile that’s not already registered with another RentCafe profile. If you receive this error message “Error #58: This email address already exists in our system. Please enter a different email address”, you’ll need to add another email address.
