Why Renters Love It Here
That is what it is.
I already mention good locaton but rough inhabitants
Living here
When I first moved in, I didn’t drive but let them know that it was one of my ultimate goals. They told me to let them lnow as soon as I had a car and requirements. I did. Continuously. Little did I know it would take a year to receive a parking spot. They’d posted a lottery for those who needed an additional one. It wasn’t until then that I’d received my parking spot. They also don’t have disabled parking. My boyfriend’s vehicle was towed because he was parked in a white-lined area not marked as a fire zone. The complex called to have it towed and lied to him about who’d towed it. He had to call the police to get the tow place’s name and I paid out of pocket to get his vehicle out. They also sent him a ticket in the mail, which we’re in the process of disputing. Had there been a spot available that was closer to the building, he would’ve parked there instead. He had his disability placard on the rearview mirror, as required. That’s one issue. Another is that their fire alarm goes off extremely excessively, sometimes 2-4 times in a single week. It’s very annoying to say the least. There’s also the fact that they constantly allow residents to leave the garbage/recycling room in a very smelly disarray. It’s disgusting. On top of that, the trash chute is stuck open and has been for awhile. Another issue that has been happening is that there’s often a weed smell in the hallway or elevator, and there have been a few occasions, that I know of, that the doors have been propped open. There was at least once that I was on my way to work and had to step around someone who was obviously intoxicated slumped over in the back hallway. All that said, it’s close to the major bus station and is a new building (built just before I moved in) and is based off your annual income. They’re also willing to work with you if you have experienced a hardship such as a loss of job, illness, etc.
Comfortable but not the best
The review process for who is applying for the apartment and whether they should get it or not can be better.
Love my new place
I truly love the building, it's new and has great amenities. Neighborhood is a little rough but at least we have a secured entry
Tenant
No on site maintenance, work order even takes weeks to be implemented.
