Totally worth living here
I have lived here for close to a year now. I work for a Tech company in the strip district and I love my commute to work. The Helm is the most affordable and gives the most bang for buck amongst other apartment buildings in the strip. I love the vicinity to all the stores and restaurants in the strip and I don't have to worry about parking or Uber late at night. I love that every apartment has a balcony to enjoy beautiful river or city and river facing views. I love that I can walk to the pirates games. I love the crow's nest club house which offers a million dollar view of the city and free fireworks!!! Finally, I have really enjoyed interacting with the management team - Melinda and Ryan as well as Ty who sits at the front desk. They are wonderful and helpful people and always go above and beyond. Sadly, I have to leave Pittsburgh because me and my fiance have to live in another city for work reasons. Of all the places I have lived so far in the U.S., this has by far been the best! Thank you Helm!
Pretty good place to live
Shared living space is very clean, staffs are nice. Nice view of the river and has a great running spot on the back of the building.
Great location, decent layouts
We have lived here over 2 years. A little expense for what it is (quality of finishes are mid-tier not luxury, amenities -- no pool, no 24/7 concierge, etc.), but overall pretty good for Strip District location. Very pet friendly building. Staff is friendly & helpful.
