Surrounded by a wall of tall, green trees, Candler Park is a lovely residential community, east of the city core. Nestled between Little Five Points, Edgewood, Lake Claire, and Druid Hills, the neighborhood is home to the homonymous park, which spreads over 55 acres of green space and is home to a nine-hole golf course, basketball court, swimming pool, tennis courts, and play areas.<\/p>\n

The neighborhood is dominated by old craftsman bungalows and some red-brick, white-trim buildings, both complementing the natural feel of the neighborhood. The older buildings are seamlessly blended in with modern single-family houses, townhomes, and lofts.<\/p>\n

Like most neighborhoods that are near the city, Candler Park has lots of small restaurants, bars, specialty shops, antique shops, and coffee shops. The neighborhood is also considered to be a very family-friendly neighborhood due to its many parks and walkability.<\/p>\n

What to Do<\/h5>\n

Fitness enthusiasts may indulge in a great number of outdoor activities, as Candler Park features a golf course, a swimming pool, a soccer field, as well as a basketball court and a tennis court. When the weather turns bad, they can get their daily exercise at Tough Love Yoga<\/a>.<\/p>\n
