The decrease might seem insignificant, but coupled with the slowest year-over-year hike in the past 13 months, 3.2% ($45), it points to a slight wind-down in rent prices in the context of a more volatile financial climate, according to Yardi Matrix.<\/p>\n<h3>Renting in Oklahoma in September 2019<\/h3>\n<p>The average rent in Oklahoma cities is <strong> lower than the national average rent<\/strong>. The fastest growing rents in September were in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/apartments-for-rent\/owasso-ok\/\">Owasso<\/a>, where rental apartment\u00a0prices increased by 5.1% year over year, or $41. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/apartments-for-rent\/broken-arrow-ok\/\">Broken Arrow apartments<\/a>\u00a0saw the second highest annual increase, jumping by 4.7% ($38), while in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/apartments-for-rent\/stillwater-ok\/\">Stillwater<\/a> prices decreased by 2.9% ($24) compared to September last year.<\/p>\n<p><script id=\"infogram_0_a47c9277-4244-4f65-83c5-3b98f828258b\" title=\"Oklahoma - RentReport September\" src=\"https:\/\/e.infogram.com\/js\/dist\/embed.js?jWr\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bixby<\/strong>\u00a0are the state&#8217;s most expensive for renters, with an average rent of $923, followed by apartments in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/apartments-for-rent\/edmond-ok\/\">Edmond apartments<\/a>, where the average monthly rent is $913.
