The decrease might seem insignificant, but coupled with the slowest year-over-year hike in the past 13 months, 3.2% ($45), it points to a slight wind-down in rent prices in the context of a more volatile financial climate, according to Yardi Matrix.<\/p>\n<h3>Renting in Nebraska in September 2019<\/h3>\n<p>The average rent in Nebraska cities is <strong>lower\u00a0than the national average rent<\/strong>. The fastest growing rents in September were in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/apartments-for-rent\/omaha-ne\/\">Omaha<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/apartments-for-rent\/bellevue-ne\/\">Bellevue apartments<\/a>, where rental apartment\u00a0prices increased by 3.3% year over year, or $30 and $34, respectively. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/apartments-for-rent\/lincoln-ne\/\">Lincoln apartments<\/a>\u00a0saw the second highest annual increase, 2.3%, making the average rate $22 higher than last year. The slowest rising rents were in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/apartments-for-rent\/papillion-ne\/\">Papillion<\/a>, where prices increased by 1% ($9) since September last year.<\/p>\n<p><script id=\"infogram_0_d586a041-bb13-4f14-946e-bd0ccab6e8fe\" title=\"Nebraska - RentReport September\" src=\"https:\/\/e.infogram.com\/js\/dist\/embed.js?u5Y\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bellevue apartments<\/strong>\u00a0are the state&#8217;s most expensive for renters, with an average rent of $1,058, followed by apartments in <strong>Lincoln<\/strong>, where the average monthly rent is $964.
