It\u2019s for good reason that Madison has been recently called one of the best places to live in the U.S. and is drawing investors’ attention. It\u2019s economically diverse and prosperous, noticeably green and culturally vibrant, not least because of the presence of its university \u2013 The University of Wisconsin-Madison.<\/p>\n

The high-ranking public university (No. 10 in the country<\/a>) dominates much of the city\u2019s life. Not only is it the city\u2019s biggest employer (along with state government) and a partner to an emerging number of tech-groups; but also a great source of wealth and vibrancy particularly for the city\u2019s downtown and campus satellite neighborhoods. That’s because many of Madison\u2019s residential<\/a> new builds cater to the ever-growing student population. The university could be said to have given Madison more of a European university-city feel, as one of only five US cities to be awarded platinum-level bicycle friendliness.<\/p>\n

Students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison looking for a place to call home can do no better than 229<\/a>. The campus apartment building, completed in 2012 in the State-Langdon neighborhood, offers high-end, fully-furnished 3-, 4- or 6-bedroom apartments, with floor plans ranging from 259 to 1,563 square feet. As expected from on-campus accommodation, there are a host of amenities, including a fitness center and private night security.<\/p>\n
