A new trend is gaining momentum in rental markets nationwide: luxury rental buildings. Renting high-end apartments gives residents access to the same top perks and amenities they would get from a luxury condo, without the commitment of ownership.<\/p>\n

The preference for high-end apartment rentals has spread to more than just the obvious markets (New York, San Francisco, Chicago). Take Kansas City rentals<\/a> for example: the overwhelming majority of the large apartment developments completed in 2015 were high mid-range rentals, also known as apartments for \u201clifestyle renters.\u201d Properties holding high mid-range status typically offer excellent finishing quality, attractive amenities, and an environment focused on creating a more social experience.<\/p>\n

Using data provided by Yardi Matrix<\/a> and additional online research, we compiled a list of the largest apartment buildings completed in the Greater Kansas City Area last year (those with 50+ units). A total of 15 new large scale properties were added with a combined total of 3,047 units in 2015.<\/p>\n
