Koreatown<\/strong>, or K-Town<\/strong><\/em> as it is more affectionately known, is a metropolitan community located in the heart of Los Angeles. This bustling city within a city is known for its 24-hour establishments, unique architectural buildings and thriving nightlife.<\/p>\n

Where is Koreatown?<\/h3>\n

Koreatown is located in central Los Angeles, in the Mid-Wilshire area, just four miles south of Hollywood, and three miles west of Downtown L.A. It is flanked by other easily accessible neighborhoods such as Silverlake, Larchmont, Westlake and East Hollywood.<\/p>\n

History<\/h3>\n

The area is densely populated with approximately 104,000 residents. It\u2019s a cultural hub of diversity, comprising a plurality of ethnic groups including Latino and Korean populations. As one of the most progressive areas of L.A., Koreatown is filled with young singles, urban professionals and artistic types.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking for activity, you will never lack for things to do here. K-Town’s convenient location presents easy access to some of L.A.\u2019s greatest attractions, such as Santa Monica Beach and the Staples Center, as well as other cultural venues (The Wiltern Theatre<\/em>) and important places celebrating the Korean heritage (the Korean American Museum<\/em>, The Korean Pavilion<\/em>).<\/p>\n
