From unpacking the essentials to setting up utilities<\/a>; learning how things work in your unit; and getting familiar with your neighborhood, settling into a new home goes beyond just unpacking boxes. These small, but important steps will not only help you stay organized, but also give you peace of mind as you settle into your daily routine in a brand new environment.<\/p>\n

Inspect & unpack essentials<\/h2>\n

Once you\u2019re in, give your delivered boxes a once-over to make sure nothing got lost or damaged. Even if the movers seemed careful, it\u2019s still wise to confirm that everything arrived and made it into the right rooms.
