Texas, Florida and Arizona dominate the list, reflecting ongoing migration and economic expansion in these states. Coupled with the city\u2019s existing inventory of about 9.2 square feet of storage space per capita, the new deliveries forecasted for this year are likely to keep local prices in check. Currently, a self storage unit in San Antonio rents for $122 per month, well below the national average. Houston, another Texas powerhouse, follows with 635K square feet of new space on the way.
