We also think it’s a great spot for a picnic or to get some fun photo ops. It’s also a perfect wedding or event venue and we love this location!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Visit Lake Apopka<\/h2>\n

\u201cThe Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive is an 11-mile drive around part of the lake\u2019s shoreline that offers visitors an opportunity to witness a diverse range of wildlife in their natural habitat. The drive is free to the public and, thanks to Florida’s temperate climate, is available from Friday through Sunday year-round. I love grabbing coffee and a pastry, listening to live music, and watching families enjoy the atmosphere. It’s one of those hidden local gems!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Wander around Disney Springs<\/h2>\n

If you\u2019re looking to get a taste of Disney without the fuss of the park, Victoria recommends Disney Springs. \u201cEven though I’ve lived here for years, I still love wandering around this place. It’s got great people watching, tons of shops and restaurants, and cool activities like taking boat rides along the waterfront promenade. At night, the live music and lakeside light displays create such a fun vibe. And you’ve got to try the beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter – they’re addictive! Disney Springs gives you a taste of the creativity and charm of Disney without buying park tickets.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Go to Disney World and EPCOT<\/h2>\n

Family-friendly attractions like the Orlando Eye Ferris Wheel, SEA LIFE Aquarium, and Madame Tussauds mix with restaurants ranging from fast food to upscale global cuisine. There’s mini golf, escape rooms, and the Orlando Science Center too. It’s got a bit of a frenetic energy, but I love walking I-Drive, never a dull day down there.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
