Logan Circle Historic has buildings which vary in style, detail and materials. The area boasts many historical residential buildings of Victorian and Richardsonian architecture, dating back to the late 1800s alongside many modern urban office and apartment buildings.<\/p>\n

Logan Circle itself is famous for its bronze equestrian statue of Major General John A. Logan which sits on a pink marble base to honor his service in the Civil War. It\u2019s a trendy neighborhood which attracts many young professionals due to its boutique home d\u00e9cor stores, popular restaurants and craft beer pubs.<\/p>\n

Where is Logan Circle?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Logan Circle is an actual circle, and neighborhood located in a historical district of Northwest Washington, D.C.\u00a0 It is the only major circle in the downtown area which is strictly residential.<\/p>\n

The circle is near Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan and Mount Vernon Square which puts it in the middle of all the action. It\u2019s got a great vibe and has fun shops and restaurants.<\/p>\n

History<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Logan Circle\u2019s Historic District consists of eight blocks surrounding the circle, which feature Victorian and Richardsonian Romanesque styles of architecture alongside modern offices and apartments. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 30, 1972.<\/p>\n
