Making spring freshness last in your Chicago apartment

One thing I absolutely love about spring is that it is inspiring. All the freshness it brings, the positive atmosphere, new life and abundance of color are only some of the aspects associated to it that can be of real help when looking for ideas to brighten up the apartment scene. Fortunately,  when summer rears its steamy head, it is still possible to maintain the light freshness of spring in your apartment.

Repainting partitions is really difficult when living in rental. You need to request permission from your landlord, and it may take up much of your time. What you can do instead to embellish your living space is add some fancy art stickers or decals to your walls. You can find them in almost every big home store like Ikea or Home Depot and they will certainly add an accent piece to your décor in a matter of minutes.  Wall art stickers are affordable and easy to install and the visual impact is impressive.

Floral prints can also add a touch of color to your Chicago home. Decorating becomes fun and easy all of a sudden if you choose spring themed sheets, comforters, throws or pillows, rugs, drapes or even wall paper. Home Goods store provides a large selection of seasonal accessories and ornamental furnishings that will help you give a whole new vibe to your place.

Floral arrangements and flower bouquets can freshen up any room in two shakes, and if you go with a spring arrangement you’ll get double the effect. Place a nice flower vase on the nightstand by the bed and your bedroom will smell like vacation time. Your dining table will gain an elegant feel, even look luxurious without digging too deep in your pockets if you choose a white kale and white roses cube vase. Simply beautiful!

If it’s fragrance and style you’re looking for while redecorating, you should consider bringing in scented candles.  Or maybe you’re allergic to pollen and they are a perfect substitute for flowers. For a truly olfactory ecstasy, check out the Prairie Environmental candle inspired by the grasses and flowers of the Kansas prairie at Waxman Candles.
