Margaret and Megan, founders of The ZEN Succulent, decided to bring the beauty and uniqueness of handmade terraria to you. Each terrarium is created by hand using an organic design with natural and preserved plants. Their philosophy is to follow nature, so the process is one of embracing chance. If you’re looking for a gift for a lover of nature, tranquility, or meditation, then a ZEN Succulent terrarium is the way to go.

2.   Accessories, Jewelry & Clothing from Edge of Urge

As the website explains, this is the place where you’re going to proclaim, “This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for!”—be it clothing, accessories, or gifts.

3.   Gourmet Food & Gift Baskets from Raleigh Provisions

Address: 107 E. Davie Street

For your foodie friend, this place has amazing gift baskets, featuring food from small, local vendors and growers. Their craft captures the admiration they have for simple, quality ingredients and unique, personal gifts. In addition to all of the delicious treats and goodies, you can also find all-natural soaps, lotions, and honey. Make sure to stop by and ask the staff about the local food scene, as well.

4.    Fashion & Home Items from The Flourish Market

Address: 307 W. Martin Street

The story of this tiny shop started with a do-good fashion truck, which Em Sexton used to help people garner their purchasing power for good. Now a cozy and chic boutique, The Flourish Market works with brands that provide fair wages for artisans and makers. Here, you’ll find inspiring gifts and amazing products, and you can rest assured that your money goes to the people who deserve it.

5.   Unique Décor from DECO Raleigh

Address: 207 S. Salisbury Street

Partnering with more than 75 local artisans and makers, DECO Raleigh offers distinctive décor inspired by the community. 6.   Natural Care from Murphy’s Naturals and Santa’s Naturals

Address: 1053 E. Whitaker Mill Road

Founded by Philip Freeman, Murphy’s Naturals is a company set on doing good for others. Its mission is “to celebrate nature and inspire good through quality natural products,” and the staff commit to it in all they do. For instance, you can get mosquito repellants made with natural oils and eco-friendly products. They also launched a brand of all-natural Christmas candles with various scents, using naturally extracted essential oils. Follow the fragrance up to Santa’s Naturals and find your signature scent. While they don’t have a storefront in Raleigh, only their corporate office and warehouses are here, you can still shop their products at Nofo in Five Points or at Indie Goods.

7.   Handcrafted Jewelry from Juniper Bay Metals

Address: 22 Glenwood Avenue, Studio #6

Truly one of a kind, every piece of jewelry in this store is made with care and respect for the craft. Staci, who designs and makes every piece by hand, desires to create heirloom-quality jewelry—simple and beautiful—for those who want to show their own creativity through these adornments. If you’re looking for a unique design for a loved one, make sure to stop by Juniper Bay Metals and talk to Staci about what you have in mind.

8.   French Bistro Gift Cards from Jolie
