The Phoenix North Mountain Village is a diversified mix of residential communities, amazing hiking trails, family-fun events like Castles N’ Coasters, and incredible resorts and golf courses. Restaurants and bars found in this culturally diverse area range from burgers- fries-and-beer joints to authentic Mexican cuisine.

North Mountain Village is best known for North Mountain Park, which provides many trails and panoramic views of the city. Although this neighborhood is considered northwestern Phoenix, it serves as the center of the Valley. This urban village borders the communities of Alhambra, Paradise Valley Village, Deer Valley, and the cities of Peoria and Glendale.

The communities of North Mountain, Paradise Valley, Deer Valley, and Desert View are considered North Phoenix. They can be very difficult to differentiate as they all bleed into one another on a map.

Most of North Mountain Village is quiet and residential, especially near the base of the mountain and resorts. During the holidays, the streets are decorated with bright lights and nativity scenes. It’s common to spot residents rollerblading or jogging down major city streets. North Mountain exudes a warm, friendly, inviting vibe.

Castles N’Coaster
Formally known as Golf N’ Stuff, Castles N Coasters has been an entertainment staple of the Valley since 1976. The 10-acre family-friendly amusement park has a go-kart track, an 18-hole miniature golf course, an indoor multi-level video arcade, and several hair-raising rides like The Patriot and Desert Storm. Conveniently located at Metro Center Mall, the amusement park is a popular family destination.
