Love this place!

Boury Lofts has been a wonderful place to live. The location and the view are wonderful (my apartment faces west and overlooks Main Street and the Ohio River). There are lots of amenities and features that make this a great place to live, whether you are a young adult or college student or disabled or elderly Boury Lofts is comfortable and convenient. Units are spacious with large windows and lots of natural light, an in-unit washer and drier, and a dishwasher. It has handicap parking, a wheelchair access ramp, handicap accessible power doors, and wheelchair accessible elevators. There are trash rooms on each floor with access to a trash chute so you don't even need to leave your floor to take out your trash (you do need to use smaller bags to ensure they fit into the chute). Best of all, because it is pet-friendly, Fido is welcome! The only "downside" has been the parking. There is a parking lot across the street, a 15-minute parking lot/loading lot on the side of the building, and parking in a parking garage that is catty-corner (diagonal from) the building. Parking is not an issue for me as I don't mind the ~45-second walk after parking the car in the garage and I can always unload my groceries in the side lot, so it is not as though I need to cross the street with my arms full of bags. Parking may not be much of a downside for some people -- I don't mind it.

Would rate between 3-4 stars overall

Not the kind of person to go in about a review but since this won’t let me Skip to just pay my rent online, parking is terrible, gym needs upgraded, sanitation in common areas is needed, elevators seem nasty all the time, some very immature people seem to write on papers and trash them on the billboard in the elevator. Weed smells. Building is old, I think there’s way to much dust all the time circulating in the building.

Great value for the area

The updated features and historic building make this property a great value. The half finished projects are the only downfall (masking tape from when the painted months ago, wall deterioration under the ac on the first floor by the elevator)

Pet Policy

A one-time, non-refundable payment of three hundred dollars ($300) is required for each pet, excluding those that meet and are approved based on reasonable accommodations and modifications.  The payment must be paid in full prior to the pet entering the unit.  Resident agrees that any damage to the unit will be paid by the Resident. No pet is permitted if the anticipated weight at maturity exceeds 25 pounds.  Puppies of large breed dogs will NOT be permitted, as they are anticipated to exceed the 25-pound limit.  A Resident is only allowed two (2) pets per unit.  Pets other than a cat or dog, when allowed, must be kept in a cage in the unit.  NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances:  Snakes, Spiders, Ferrets, Pot Belly Pigs or other Reptiles.
