A Great Place to Live

I have enjoyed my time living at Custer Village. It is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. I always feel safe. My neighbors are friendly and respectful. The apartments are clean and suitable for living. The staff and landlord are speedy at responding to any requests and concerns.

Good Community, Nicely Laid Out

There's a lot of charm at Custer Village but a few areas of concern as well. The location is great for being along the highway. You're actually centered around a lovely, clean neighborhood with a lot of greenery. My two-bedroom apartment faces the back of Custer Village, but I still find myself enjoying the view of the pine trees and the critters that scurry by. Maintenance is responsive and the issues are generally resolved within 48 hours. Staff is approachable and friendly and are willing to work with you. My major issue is the lack of central air. The AC unit is not powerful enough to cool the entire apartment, so it would've been nice to have another installed elsewhere at the very least. Also, the AC unit reads the temperature either in or outside and turns off when it reaches a max level. That's fine in theory and I'm sure there's a benefit and a reason for it, but it often turns off way too early for me. I run hot normally, so I prefer to keep cool. It's hard without fans in the apartment. Overall, I'm happy at Custer Village and would recommend it to others.
