I like the overall cleanliness of the compound which is attractive to we all and guests visiting us. However, no much value for our money. I hate complaining but when I lived downstairs, it’s like l used to beg my front door area to be cleaned up. It reached a point l swept the front area myself because l couldn’t look at all the Babbage leading me to my apartment. This changed after the youngest (by looks) maintenance guy got hired. I would hijack him and he would sweep whenever l requested him to. Kindly reward him for his good work. Some issues for example lost pets, broken down gate and vandalized cars get more attention than broken apartment leading to total loss of personal identities. I had been advised to post information about the vandalism at the Luxer box but we don’t do things that way. However, no email was sent for others to be on the alert because no one wants to spoil their business. I have been paying my rent on time except for two times when (1) my roommates’ pay was delayed. (2) other one was during this Covid era and on the 8th of December, l found a reminder notice on my door which was okay someone has to do his or her job. Before the vandalism, the tenant in Y201 alerted the office of the tent in the forest. This was not reported to the police because of the following reasons, (a) forest is the council area as to what she was told and (b), she could call the police. When l moved to J203, we were still traumatized and the way we were handled in the last phase of it wasn’t nice at all. I am still waiting for master bathroom rubber to be fixed that was ordered way back in December and no one has come back to me. I wonder if there is a schedule as to when to clean the stairs, they get filthy without much attention. I have held this long enough till l had to let it be known what we have faced but we ain’t planning to move elsewhere. I guess and l stand to be corrected it’s because of where we come from; African Africans. Thanks
