Quality
The location is great. The maintenance staff is quick to repair things. The material quality is questionable at times. Since I have lived here the BAH has increased from $1470 (2018), to $1593 (2019), to $1719 (2020), and currently $1740 (2021). It is about to go up another large jump in Jan 2022. It would be really nice if Balfour Beatty could resume giving us refrigerator water filters again. It would also be nice if they could install garage door openers as families who pay far less BAH have garage door openers in their homes and have up-to-date home finishes as well. It seems like the older homes are forgotten just because they are old.
Could be better could be worse
Overall housing on Fairchild isn't bad. But there are a few things that are frustrating. For example we had maintance show up unannounced 3 times. Not cool. What if we hadn't been home since 2 of those times I had no idea he was coming. The 1st time they told be they would give me a warning call and didn't. Another issue is a TRUELY feel that the move out expexctations are rediculous. I have 3 pages of front and back what is expected to be cleaned and alot of ti e what is considered normal wesr and tear is substantially less that what might occur from normal, not hard, use. Also I'm pretty ticked about the black lightibg carpets since they did not black light in front of us.
