An out-dated, depreciating turd dressed in nice paint
In the last 5 years, this place has doubled in rent cost and tripled in disappointment. I would discuss everything that is wrong now but no one would really give much care because we live in an area where everyone wants to live, and American economics dictate that in these type of supply and demand environments, renters charge whatever they want while offering whatever kind of underwhelming and unconcerned service in return they want. Why is this true? Because all the other renters in this entire area are just as greedy... and use runaway capitalism as there excuse for it. You'd think that while owners are making double the profits they used to off these rentals, they could at very least afford to offer us more than a nice paint job. But instead, we get bad parking management where the entire complex fights for the same parking spots every day, the pool opens only 3 weeks out of the year, the office never has spare keys to anything, and Centurylink tells us that all of the internet and phone cable connections in the entire building are terribly outdated ( those are just four recent things we have noticed in the last year ). We've been long-time renters out of necessity, but our renter's credit for being close to 7-year residents is a joke. We pay just about what everyone else pays minus a hundred dollars or so. These days, that's only about enough money to break even on the utilities that this apartment used to pay when we first moved here, but haven't not payed since 5 years ago. In other words, this place is garbage now from a service and value perspective. Luckily I'm generally a nice guy and am not very petty, which is the only reason I haven't left this exact comment on whatever online forum or platform ( such as Yelp ) I can find.
