Not the best!!!

When I first moved in it was fine. But down the line way to many problems occurred, appliances are old, walls falling apart, They have a roach problem. Also way to much traffic and activities going on at night. The cops are here minimum 3 times a month so I wouldn’t put it down as the safest place to live. The apartment lacks functional storage like a linen closet or pantry. Walls are paper thin, I feel bad for my downstairs neighbor because I have three children running around. Finishes on apartment could have been done way better. The staff is great so I have no complaints there but it’s but so much they can do with apartments being old. I wouldn’t recommend for a big family.

Communication

As a new tenant I’m somewhat pleased so far. I would love to give this place 5 stars but the lack of response on maintenance issues is a bit frustrating. I wish they would respond as fast as management would respond to lack or nonpayment of rent.

The rent should be lowered during this time--sence we can not use the pool or gym---we are paying for amenities that we cant use.

Parking: First come first serve, but there's parking spots available 90% of the time within short enough distance. Amenities: Horrible workout room, more like a closet with two or three pieces of equipment. Maintenance: Good guys, good service every time I called them (4 or 5 times in two years). Location: Good location. Noise: Paper thin walls, and no rules enforcement. But Chesterfield county has pretty good ordinances... read them, know them, and call the cops as necessary. Loud music from cars is only occasional, and temporary. Staff: Utterly and totally incompetent. Typical people work in the management office, practiced at smiling on que, but largely useless. They don't call back, and they can't do math. I had a 12 month lease at X amount per month. I then switched to a 6 month lease at (X + shorter lease fee). Rent went up by 2%, and these mathmeticians added 2% of the total 6 month rent (X + shorter lease fee + 2%) and applied that as my 12 MONTH lease price to renew. Value: Poorly renovated apartment, good square footage, horribly incompetent management, good maintenance... The management lost this teneant.
