Great place to live
Very close to great Virginia schools and Metro to DC area. Family oriented and great staff
Not the best
Beautiful home. However, it's really old and insulation isn't great. Electric bill is between $450-$700/month. Constant maintenance request with small things like fridge not working, toilets getting clogged, heater not working around the house. Not to mention, first week living here, someone tried breaking in through my daughter's window! Lots of young ppl live in the surrounding townhomes; lots of noise at night.
Everything is great except for some of the staff
Maintenance delays repairs over and over again for months before things get fixed. This includes, appliances, water damage, steps leading to front door, etc. Parking is almost always good except for minor flooding issues during flash flood and a recent sinkhole in the parking lot which was immediately being fixed. Staff is quick to blame tenants for issues of any kind rather than looking into the issue to fix it. One example being the broken auto-pay feature for paying rent. It always seems to auto-disable auto-pay after a month or two and the staff says its us who cancel it when it isnt. IT staff are needed. These facts are well known and talked about in our community and have been persistent issues for years.
Love easy access to 66, roadwork has been going On but that is out of any ones control, plenty parking and outdoor maintenance Is always on time. Interior maintenance could be better, appliances are old, refrigerator doesn’t even have an ice maker, clothes has to be cycled twice in the dryer, besides the 4th room not having a closer, which is considered an in law suite, the house layout is fantastic though. Plenty of space, love the skylight ceiling.
