When we initially moved here the rent was around $660 a month, which was reasonable and the cheapest we could find. However, over the past three years it has increases multiple times. Currently we pay $880 for a three br, one bath and honestly it's not worth the cost. Don't get me wrong, the apartments aren't bad and even have a pool which is convenient during the summer; but there are now 3 bdrm 2 br houses for less than what we pay currently. And one br is about the size of a nice walk in closet with no windows. The re-modled apartments are over $1,300 ??! The only reason we are still here is because we are working on our credit so that our next move will be purchasing a home. But the constant increases have made it very difficult. My best suggestion is if you are fortunate enough to rent or purchase a home I would highly suggest doing so.
