My Time at the Thornton
I have loved living here. In the mornings I go for a run across the water watching National Harbor wake up among the orange and red sunrise. Ive met only pleasant people in this apartment and compared to other apartments in the area, this one consistently boasts apartment get togethers. My wife used to live at another apartment complex and was ecstatic to move in with me. Please take time to visit this place and live here
Maintenance
I have been a resident in apartments for a long time and this is the first time in a long time I can say that we have an Absolutely awesome, dare I say Stellar maintenance team. Anytime I have had a problem they are quick, efficient, professional and courteous. Even meeting them walking around the property they always have a smile. I love ??living here.
Masking in the exercise room
People may be easing up on wearing masks, but that does make Covid any less threatening. I keep checking the exercise room to see if it is free, but as many as 6 people can be in there unmasked. It's a lot of money to pay for not feeling comfortable using one of your best features.
Apartment review
Location to Beltway and airport is perfect for us, relatively nice building, but the physical privacy between next door neighbors, upstairs neighbors, and hallway noise is unbearable...we've have complained periodically about the daily stomping noises coming through ceiling in the morning, at night, throughout the day as the neighbor walks (stomps) back and forth across the apartment...the gym is convenient but equipment repairs seem take 4 to 5 months, love the underground parking but why are the outer doors open at night serious security issues, we are seriously considering paying the early penalty and moving on
