Can't recommend

Lived in Millbrook a year. When we moved in property was managed by the builder and community did not look like a "rental" community. A few months into our lease, the property was sold and the community quickly started going downhill. Vehicles sitting with flat tires and expired registration stickers and not being moved/driven for months. Vehicles illegally parked on sidewalks and trash or junk in plain sight in yards or in back of vehicles. As leases weren't renewed and lots of empty homes, it became evident that the criteria originally used for screening applicants was changing to help rents the homes. Former and current leasing company employees confirmed that applicants could apply and submit ID's online and then only one person on the lease has to show in person to pick up the keys. This is a loop hole as people living in the homes have NOT been properly screened and passed background checks and may have criminal records regardless of the application "requirements". Mgmt is aware of this!!!! Also, the lease contains lots of verbiage that "doesn't apply" to the homes as the mgmt company typically rents apartments but the mgmt company states they can't change anything. Before you sign a lease know that it is a legally binding document and if you don't have things in writing you can be held to what's written and possibly charged fees because of it. As for the mgmt team, when a former employee "Ms. S." was made aware of situations and appeared to care and want to fix them soon thereafter she was no longer with the company. Tiffany, Veronica, and Cici were all very friendly but seemed to be more concerned at renting homes than fixing issues or ensuring the safety and wellbeing of existing residents.
