Just perfect

The only complaint I have is not having full control over heat and ac. Definitely going to need a fan this summer!

Good property good value

I’ve been a tenant for almost 2 years, and have lived at two locations. The price is fair for what you get, I had an updated kitchen at my previous apartment and liked it much better. Here we have stray cats, a tree growing into the fence pushing it over/breaking it. Our fountain is constantly broken, which is sad because I think it could be beautiful. The neighbors are fine, nice mix of people. There have been issues with homeless people inside the complex using the washer& dryers. I like the maintenance crew, they always come promptly. I don’t like that the a/c &heating unit are controlled by the properties for example I left yesterday morning with the air turned to 74 Incase is got to hot, over the course of the day the air was turned to heat without any notice to the tenants and when I came home my apartment was almost 80 degrees! Other property management companies I have lived with keep execution extremely perfect but then you loose a lot of the charm that are these small buildings and the mom and pop feel from the team members. I would describe these units as “you get what you pay for” but I don’t mean that on a negative way more like “it is what it is”. Oh and I love Jason and Fabiola they always go above and beyond!!!

In the heart of Dallas

We can't beat the location and value Power Properties brings to Old East Dallas. As one other tenant told me 'Shabby Chic Apartment Living' is what she likes about them. We fantasize about buying the building one day we like it that much. The maintenance here is prompt when we call and the value is good. Wish the outside BBQ grill worked again, something went wrong with it. Occasionally there is noise issues but never anything ongoing, and considering the size of the building we all respect each others peace of mind. After spending years renting apartments and town homes in far north Dallas, I now wish I had moved to this area much sooner!
