Great Experience

I have lived at Bent Tree on several occasions and have always been pleased with the value of the property for the price. I like that it is a smaller property that offers a homey feel and have enjoyed my time here.

Overall, a decent place to live!

Staff is great. Kind and cordial, but there's been a lot of turnover since I have been here. Communication is average, even with their SMS notifications (sometimes notifications come in too late to be of use), but that's apartment life for you. I have never had a negative experience with the staff ever, and the property feels very neighborly. In fact, the staff has bent over backward for me on a few occasions, but those individuals are now working elsewhere, at a sister property. Rent is below market value, but has been steadily creeping up. The apartments themselves are average to below average -- my unit has older appliances (that work, but are quite outdated), "popcorn" walls and ceilings, thin single-panel windows, and my unit leaks if it rains hard for two days. I guess the trade-off is the fair price and neighborly feel of the community, in a safe and beautiful neighborhood. My only real complaint with the location is the noise. There is one resident who drives a motorcycle with an aftermarket muffler job meant to rattle the block. My unit is just near the exit so it's hard to take a nap or watch a quiet movie sometimes as this resident uses his road hog as his primary transport, and he revs up right by my window. Annoying. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat to someone who needed an affordable place to live with a strong neighborly feel, keeping in mind the age of the units as a primary drawback.
